Potassium Bromate is used as an oxidizing agent, food additive (maturing flour and dough conditioner in milling and
baking, manufacturing cheese and and malting beer). It is used to fracture
concrete in combination wuth aluminum and dinitrotoluene. It is also used as a
brominating agent in the synthesis of chemical compounds. |
